Justice Miner Sheffield (1806-1898) and Henrietta Bartlett. 1808 to 1885 (died 21 May 1885 at 76 years 5 months and 19 days). Justus M Sheffield came from Geauga County, Ohio.
He would live out most of his life in Cass County. Justice and Henrietta are both buried in Bly Cemetery, Cass Co., MI. After Henrietta, Justice sometime between 1890 and 1895,
went to Iowa to be close to his daughter Lucinda. Family lore states that he was the son of Harvey Sheffield born in Connecticut. Justice had several siblings, which we haven't listed here
as most did not come with Justice on this journey.   In the 1880 census for Marcellus Twp, Cass County, MI - states she was born in New York state and both parents were originally from Massachusettes.

In 1840 Russel, Geauga Co., OH - is where we can find Justice before he makes a move to McHenry Co., Illinois with wife Henrietta and some of  the children born to this union.
