===============================================================
NOTES:  Samuel CARNEY was the first person to be buried in the Gilson or West Climax Cemetery. Mary KEYES CARNEY and her second husband Peter CROWHURST lived several years at Geneseo Twp., Tama Co., IA. By 1880 they were living at Kalamo, Eaton Co., MI. Daughter Mary CARNEY and husband spent their married life in the Carmel Twp. area of Charlotte, Eaton Co., MI. Son Lyman CARNEY died in action during the Civil War. Before that he and his family were living at Silver Creek, Cass Co., MI. Daughter Melvina CARNEY was said to have married someone by the surname of CHURCH, but I have not yet verified this. Lucinda CARNEY went to Iowa with her mother and stepfather. She and her husband were married there, and they spent their married life in Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska.
