BEACH, FRANK died at Sand Lake, MI., Jan. 14, 1904, under suspicious
circumstances. Post Mortem showed a diseased liver. Mrs. Beach shot herself
before funeral, Jan 17 and died Jan 22; buried near Grand Rapids. He left
dau. Hester McCarthy of Grand Rapids; two brothers of Grand Rapids. Mrs.
Beach was born Belle Pierce of Grand Rapids, MI (Jan. 20, 1904)

HUTCHINS, CHARLES formerly of Cedar Springs, MI died at Salem, Oregon
on May 23, 1904. He was a brother of Alonzo Link. Mr. Hutchins moved to

JEWELL, EDWARD was born in New York in 1818 and died in California on
June 11, 1900 at the age of 82 yrs. Came to Michigan in 1855 and was a
prominent resident of Cedar Springs; to California in 1872, ret. to Michigan
in 1874; back to Calif. in 1876. Bur: Elmwood beside his 3 sons. Is survived

at age 4.

SMALL, RUFUS D. born Lisbon, ME. Aug 2, 1824; died Oct 19, 1899; son
of Samuel Small who died in 1897 at the age of 93 years. Was of cousin
of Abraham Lincoln. In his early life he was a sailor and sailed in the
Atlantic and in the Great Lakes area. Moved to Michigan 40 years ago residing
first in Greewood, St. Clair Co. then moved to Richmond, Macomb Co. to Howard
City and lastly to Cedar Springs. He married Feb 17, 1848 Hannah A. Kilgore.
