Bushnell township is bounded, on the north by Evergreen, on the east by Bloomer, on the south by Ionia County, and on the west by Fairplains. It is described in the survey of the State as town 9 north, of range 6 west. It was organized in the spring of 1850, and was named after a young man named Daniel P. Bushnell, clerk of the House of Representatives at that time. |
