Horseshoe Lake School District # is located in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 23 North, Range 1 East, Foster Township, Ogemaw County, Michigan. Also known as SWAMP CORNERS SCHOOL. Few records exist on who donated the land, who built the school, or who taught or attended there.
