Ottawa Reformed Church, 1915 – 2005
90 Years of Service

The Ottawa Reformed Church was organized in October of 1915. A church building was constructed in 1916.

For many years the church services were led by seminary students from Western Theological Seminary. It wasn’t until 1940 that they hired their first full-time pastor, Rev. Howard Teusink.

A new church building was erected in 1972 and the older building was sold and moved. The church is located west of 112th Avenue at 11390 Stanton Street.

There was much growth and the building was expanded in the 1980’s adding seating in the sanctuary, classrooms, more office space and a larger consistory room.

An addition, the GRACE Center which includes a combination gym and fellowship hall, was finished in the mid 1990’s.
