    OBITUARY FOR ANDREW HANSEN LORDAHL - On Thursday, Jan. 12, 1933, Andrew H. Lordahl, for thirty years a citizen of Holland and vicinity, died after a year of failing health.
    Andrew Hansen Lordahl, son of Hans Christian and Grete Bunn Lordahl, was born at Hoff Jarelsberg, Norway, May 24, 1860. In 1876 he came to America where he was joined a few years later by his mother and two sisters. In 1891 he was united in marriage to Anna Peterson of Racine, Wisconsin. Mr. and Mrs. Lordahl and family moved to a farm north of Holland in 1902. However, since 1906 the family has resided in this city. For the last twelve years of his life he had a most pleasant career in the service of Hope church as well as in the service of the Woman's Literary club.
    Those in charge of the funeral were Rev. J. O. Randall of the First Methodist church and Rev. Thomas W. Davidson, pastor of Hope church.
    Because of Mr. Lordahl's close connection with Hope church, his pastor, among other things, said as follows: "Holland has lost a good citizen, Hope church a valiant servant and his home a devoted parent. As a church officer he showed many fine qualities, was obliging and trustworthy and as far as the church goes he always seemed to know the exact fitness of things. His relations with the minister and consistory were always of the happiest character."
    The pallbearers were the sons and grandson of the deceased who are named among the survivors. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon.
    The survivors are the widow and following children: Austin W. Lordahl of Huntington, WV, Miss Ina Lordahl of Holland, Leonard A. Lordahl and Dr. Elmer A. Lordahl of Chicago, Rev. Carl A. Lordahl of Stewartsville, MN, Bert L. Lordahl of Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Evelyn Dukatz of Detroit, Miss Marian J. Lordahl of Croswell, MI, and six grandchildren, of whom one, Harold Lordahl McIntyre, made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Lordahl. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Hanna Herwig of St. Paul, MN.

HOLLAND CITY NEWS, 20 NOVEMBER 1940 - OBITUARY OF Mrs. Anna Amelia Lordahl, 71, died Monday in her home 356 West 15th St., after a long illness. Her husband, Andrew, died in January, 1933.
    Surviving are several sons and daughters, Austin W. of Lansing, Miss Ina at home, Leonard A. of Defiance, Ohio, Carl A. of Janesville, Wisconsin, Bert L. of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. E.C. Dukatz of Detroit, Dr. E. A. Lordahl of Chicago and Mrs. E.V. Bekken of Byron Center; a grandson, Dr. H. W. McIntyre of Chicago who lived with Mrs. Lordahl; five other grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Augusta Carlson of Racine, Wisconsin, and two brothers, John and Carl Johnson, both of Racine.
    Mrs. Lordahl was a resident of this community for about 37 years and was a member of the Methodist church.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and at 2 p.m. from First Methodist church. The Rev. W. G. Flowerday officiated. Burial was in Pilgrim Home cemetery.
