Mrs. Eko H. Smith Dies At Convalescent Home

Mrs. Eko H. Smith, 66, of route 6, died at Smith Convalescent Home Sunday at 11 p.m. Although she had been suffering a lingering illness she had been at the home only since Friday.

Mrs. Smith and her husband moved to the farm on Route 6 about five years ago from Gobles, Mich. They belonged to East Saugatuck Christian Reformed Church.

Surviving are the husband, a son, Henry of Kalamazoo; five sisters, Mrs. Peter De Kraker, Mrs. Gerrit Bredeweg and Mrs. W..J. Allen all of Holland, Mrs. Fred Reimink of Hamilton, and Mrs. William Alderink of Grand Rapids, and a brother, Ike Tulp of Swan Lake, N.Y.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Nibbelink-Notier Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Seth Miersma of East Saugatuck officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Allegan.

The family will meet friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
