Avery G. Densmore – November 1919

Word has been received here of the death and burial of Avery G. Densmore at his home in Detroit, influenza being the direct cause of his death. His wife and daughter are both very ill with the same disease with no hope of recovery. Avery was a brother of Emory Densmore and a nephew of L. P. Densmore of this place. He was born and lived all his boyhood days on a farm one-half mile west and one mile south of Hudsonville. He was a barber by trade and at one time had a shop in Grandville and later one in this village, going from here to Olivet, thence to Detroit.
