amont— Eliza Gibson, aged eighty, an old residence of this place, died Thursday at the home of her son, A. K. Gibson, in Grand Rapids. She is survived by three sons and one brother, Abraham Perlee. Funeral services were held at the home of her son, A. K. Gibson. Rev. Hailwood officiated. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery. 1845-1926. Obituaries of the Coopersville Observer by Henry and Loekie Boersma PerLee is a well-known name in the settling and founding of Tallmadge Township. Mary Perlee, mother of Eliza PerLee Gibson, wrote endless letters home telling of her first years settling on the banks of the Grand River, beginning with her first letter, July 15, 1844.
