The funeral of Stephen Hamlin was held Monday afternoon from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Wilson, of 300 W. Thirteenth Street, the Rev. P. E. Whitman officiating. The deceased was 80 years of age and is survived by two sons and two daughters.

(Mr. Hamlin served in the 12^th Michigan Infantry during the Civil War. He is buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.)
