Jettie M. Lough

Jettie M. Lough, age 102, of Holland, Mich., went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, Jan. 16,2003.

She was born and raised in West Virginia. In 1924, she married Claude Lough. In 1949, she and her family moved to Holland. She worked as a seamstress for DeVries and Dornbos in Holland. She was the oldest member of Ottawa Reformed Church. She was a direct descendant of the founding family of Morgantown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude in 1960; sons Andrew Lough in 1996, and Robert Lough in 2003; daughter, Doris Hart in 2001; and son-in-law Floyd Hart in 1992. She is survived by children, Harold and Cleobell Lough of Hudsonville, Mich., Eleanor Connor, Holland; daughter-in-law, Marian Lough, Jenison; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-inlaw, Margaret Thorn, of Morgantown; nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2 pan., Monday, at Ottawa Reformed Church. Officiating will be the Revs. Kevin Fleinheksel and Russell Sybesma. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 1-2 pm, prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to World Home Bible League or Haven Park Christian Nursing Home.
