Erving M. Lowing, age 86 of Grandville passed away Saturday, 11 August 1984. Survivors are his wife, Berniece, his children, Virginia and Ray Dyksterhouse of Grandville; grandchildren, Ron and Mary Stillard of Lansing, Linda and Wayne Vander ---- of Grand Rapids, Sharon and Bruce Duimstra of Howard City; 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, William S. of Lakeview and Harold of Jenison; 2 sisters, Mrs. Harold (Lili) Kelley of Sturgis, Mrs. Doris Cheyne of Coopersville, many nieces and nephews. The rosary will be read Monday 7:30 at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 11 am at St. Pius Catholic Church with the Fr. Michael Denner, celebrant. Internment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Cancer Society. Visiting hours, 2-4 and 7-9, Sunday and Monday at the Grandville Chapel of Cook Funeral Home.

A. Kenneth Lowing, age 87 of Cedar Springs passed away 26 June 1996. He is survived by distant relatives and many friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Bliss Earl Funeral Home. Internment in East Nelson Cemetery. Visitation 7-9 Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Vina Lowing, aged 89 of Wyoming went to be with her Lord Tuesday, 4 October 1983 at her home. Mrs. Lowing was a member of the Dorcas Guild of the Wyoming Park United Methodist church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, 29 April 1981. Surviving are her children: Eileen and George Boonstra of Wyoming, her in laws, Ervin and --- Lowing of Grandville, Harold and Doris Lowing of Jenison, Lila and Harold Kelley of Sturgis, Doris Cheyne of Coopersville, William S. and E___ of Florida, several nieces and nephews and many good friends.
Relatives and friends will meet at the funeral home Thursday at 1:15 and services to follow at 2 p.m. at Rest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Wm Martin and Rev. John Hichens officiating. Visiting hours 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday at the Grandville chapel of Cook Funeral Home, Prairie Street.

Joe L. Lowing, age 85 years, formerly of Bauer, passed away Friday evening at the home of his daughter in Utica. Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Benjamin Nichols of Utica and two grandsons, Charles and Stanley Nichols of Utica. Mr. Lowing will repose at the Hildreth Throop Funeral home where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Internment Georgetown Cemetery

Harold Lowing, age 82 of Jenison passed away Saturday evening, 26 March 1988. He is survived by his children: Irwin and Barbara Brink of Holland, his grandchildren, Mrs. Jay/Jeanne Lindell of South Bend, Indiana, Robert and Mary Brink all of Holland; 1 sister, Mrs. Doris Cheyne of Coopersville, 1 sister-in-law, Mrs. Berniece Lowing of Grandville, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Hudsonville Congregation UCC with Rev. Thomas Mason and Rev. Eldon Cummings officiating. Internment in Georgetown Cemetery. Calling hours at the VanderLaan Funeral Home in Hudsonville will be Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society – Michigan Chapter or to the Hudsonville UCC church fund.
(Mr. Lowing was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (DeNeff).

She is survived by her family: Lorraine and Leon Ryder of Coopersville, Lois and George Spencer of Grand Rapids, Floyd Cheyne of Muskegon, 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Berniece Lowing of Rockford and Ida Cheyne of Nunica; several nephews and nieces and many friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m. at the Throop Funeral Home, Coopersville with her nephew, Rev. Wilburt Kloosterhouse officiating. Burial Coopersville Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday.
