Dr. Jacob McNett

Dr. Jacob B. McNett died in Muskegon Wednesday. He had been a resident of Grand Haven since 1857, having removed to Muskegon only recently. The doctor was a popular practitioner and a well known horseman. He had served during the Civil War as assistant surgeon of the 1st Michigan Sharpshooters; was at one time post surgeon of the Navajo Indian Agency in Arizona and physician at the Ionia House of Corrections, and until recently a member of the Holland Pension Board. His remains were taken to Grand Haven for burial.
