Cpl. Daniel Mills

Daniel Mills was a Civil War veteran. He enlisted as private on September 3, 1862, at Grand Rapids, age 22, and served in Co. B, 21stMI Infantry. He was promoted to full Corporal on May 1, 1865, and was mustered out on June 8, 1865 at Washington D. C. He was a prisoner of war during his military service.

Daniel was born December 22, 1839, in Ohio, and died of apoplexy March 1, 1918, age 78-2-7. He is buried in Advent Cemetery, Wright Township, Ottawa County, MI, according to his MI Death Certificate. (Seeking Michigan)
