At his home at 154 Fourteenth Street yesterday, John P. Oggel died at the age of 85 years. Mr. Oggel had lived in Holland for nearly half a century. He is survived by two daughters, Miss Mary Oggel and Mrs. R. Mulder, and one son who lives in Detroit. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1:45 o’clock from 133 E. Fifteenth Street.

(Cpl. Oggel was a veteran of the Civil War and served in the 25^th Michigan Infantry, Co. I. He is buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.)
