Maria Ybarra, Mrs Jose Silva, Sr,

Maria, Yballa Silva, 79, of 189 Burke Ave., Holland, Mich., passed away in her home on Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, 2007. Maria was bom in Weslaco, Texas, and moved to Holland in 1945. She retired from Kent-Holland Die Casting Co.and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose Silva Sr., in 1986, and by her three brothers, Trinidad, Juan and Guadalupe Ybarra. Maria is survived by her children, Andres Garza of Muskegon, Maria Quintanilla and fiance Joe Resales of Holland, Violanda (Keata) and Charles Pridgen of West Monroe, La., Jose Jr. of Holland, Connie and Terry James of Holland, Lucy Sanchez and boyfriend Mayo Silva of  Holland, Oralia (Lolly) and Leo Conejo of Brownsville, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; a brother, Noe and Linda Ybarra of Ludington, Mich.; sister Fela Mendoza of Okolona, Miss., and Ramona and Juan Rios of Austin, Texas; brother-in-law Juan Silva; sisters-in-law Frances Ybarra, Corina Ybarra, Josie Silva, Lupe Silva and Frances Silva.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at the Northwood Chapel, Dykstra Lifestory Funeral Home. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at St. Francis De Sales  Catholic Church. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
