Death of Miss Bertha VanToll.

Miss Bertha VanToll of this city passed away at her home on Third street yesterday afternoon at four o’clock. Miss VanToll had been ill for about three weeks and from the first there was but little hope for her recovery. For many years she has been in poor health and her weakened condition unfitted her to withstand the final illness.

Decedent was born in Grand Haven on May 31, 1871, and has lived here all of her life. From childhood she had the faculty for winning friends and her personality retained them for her always.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. A. VanToll and following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Frank McMillan, Mrs. Stephen Emmett of Duluth, Minn., and Ads, Arie, Ralph, Arthur and Nelson of this city.

The funeral services will be held at the residence on Third street on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. The interment will be at Lake Forest.
