THE EARLY HOLLAND ACADEMY AND PIONEER SCHOOL

The Holland Academy (known originally as the Pioneer School) was established in 1852 through the efforts of Rev. A. C. VanRaalte of Holland and Rev. Van der Meulen of Zeeland, MI. The following information was included in a catalogue published by the Holland Academy in 1865 -
