Rankin School District #2

   

Rankin School was located on Garfield between 48th and 60th Avenues.  It was built in the late 1800's with, William Stiles, the first teacher in 1890.     Many teachers served the Rankin School district.  Some of them only hired for one-year terms.     At the end of the school year, the picnics were enjoyed by students and parents.
