Tiffany Museum
28 Port Sheldon
Jenison, Michigan 49429
This house was built at the turn of the century by Margaret Husband from money she inherited from Lucius and Luman Jenison.  The house was finished in 1902 and lived in by Margaret until her death in 1913.  Ben and Bessie (Husband) Hanchett owned the house from 1913 to 1961, when Clarence and Zoe Tiffany purchased it.  The Michigan Department of Transportation owned the house from 1969 to 1975, when the State of Michigan deeded the house to Georgetown Township.  When Georgetown Township acquired the house in 1975, it was badly in need of repair.  The Jenison Historical Association and concerned residents began restoration.  Over the years, may pieces of furniture and artifacts have been loaned or donated to the Tiffany House Museum.  Volunteers give freely of their time and talents to host tours and maintain the museum.
Free admission to all open houses. (Donations are appreciated to help maintain the upkeep of the museum.)
