CAPTION: The Rev. Donald J. Jasmin, new minister of the First Baptist Church, Onaway was formally welcomed as pastor at a dinner-reception, Sept. 6, 1967. Jasmin, native of Warren, attended Lincoln High School and graduated 1954. His college and seminary training was received at Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina...The addition to the Russell Memorial Hospital in Onaway was delayed until the spring. It was a project that was going to bring a new maternity ward to the facility...Seaman recruit Gary L. Brown, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry K. Brown of Fardon Street, Onaway, graduated from nine weeks of Navy basic training at the Naval Training Center...Arnold's Radio & TV had the all-new 1968 Zenith in stock for a real bargain. It was slim, lightweight, but only available in charcoal color and off-white color.
