Arnold "Chick" Vermilya Retires from Onaway Postal Service From Presque Isle County Advance and Onaway Outlook Oct. 22, 2015

  

  
CAPTION:   Onaway Postmaster Donald Whiltshire and the entire staff of the local post office paid tribute
to Arnold "Chick" Vermilya, who had completed 36 years of service as a clerk under seven different postmasters.
He began services under postmaster John H. McLeod and was followed successively by William Faircloth, George 
Stone, Earl Kendrick, Norris Horrocks and Ervigal Peacock.  In additon to Whiltshire those who met in the post
office to honor Chick were Shirley McDonald, Diane Tucker, Robert Smith, Newton Chapman Jr. and William Badgero, 
all of the post office staff.
