The log cabin dinning hall sat next to the company office. This building had a dining hall on the bottom floor that was used to feed the office employees.
The upstairs housed the Lobdell families for several years until they built their homes at the top of Lobdell's Hill. William Ellenberger lives in the Ben Lobdell home today.
Looking closely, next to the old company office, on the northeast one can peer into the basement of the cabin. About 10 feet of the large chimney can still be seen today.
