CAPTION: Yes, they do grow big horns on the deer in Presque Isle County. If you could count the points on this head you would find there are 29. It was a nice deer too and dressed 200 pounds. The big rack fell to the 30-30 Winchester of Earl Nagle, who was hunting on the Paul Trapp farm. When the monster buck emerged, Nagle could hardly believe his eyes. The photo, taken by Ferris Parsons, appeared in the Dec. 5, 1946 edition of the Advance.
