CAPTION: Late 1976 saw the birth of what would become the Mariners' Mall in downtown Rogers City. From left, Dave Nadolsky, Don Hampton and Dan Nemode signed an option giving them the opportunity to purchase city property in the Urban Development area. The trio planned to bring the Nautical City the 320-by-108-foot shopping complex. In recent years, there has been a rebirth of sorts with Davita Dialysis and Save-A-Lot joining Family Dollar. Additionally, a water fountain may be in the works at the site of the so-called "silo sign."
