CAPTION: Harry Moran Jr., mayor of Onaway read a proclamation marking the 67th year of Girl Scouts. The Onaway City Commission was presented with cookies by Theresa Porter and Lana Rogers. In other Onaway news, Cheboygan architect Ron Tebo told the city commission that the Onaway Courthouse Building was in good structural condition and urged city officials to begin restoring it. In comments from local residents, Clyde Hopkinson said, "It should be restored. It's an old landmark and should be preserved." Asa Ennes also believe it should be restored. In sports, Craig Moser scored 27 points, more than half of Onaway's score, and Jeff Badder put in 10. Other than that, the Cardinals were colder than a Siberian suntan, missing layups and perimeter shots in a season-ending loss to Atlanta, 58-51.
