CAPTION: Marjie Rundell was willing to spend two days and a night at the Tony Moll showroom in order to purchase a 1973 Oldsmobile Toronado for the grand purchase price of 98 cents. It was part of a 1980 publicity stunt put on by the Rogers City used car dealership. In other Onaway news, the Cardinals boys' basketball team upset Rogers City 67-49 in the district tournament. In the tournament final against Charlevoix, some observers said it was the best basketball Onaway has played in 16 years. The buzzer sounded with Charlevoix a 58-57 winner. Rick McDonald scored 25 against Rogers City. Guy Stevenson scored 17 agains Charlevoix.
