CAPTION: Onaway High School snow king and queen, Kurt Brown and Sally Hart (front) reigned over the Christmas dance following a Saturday basketball game. The 1976 king and queen, Jet Schuler and Diane Tucker passed on the scepter and crown. In other Onaway News, more than 500 people enjoyed the third annual Christmas party for employees and their families at the Walter and May Reuther Education Center. Some of the party-goers consumed the biggest banana split they had ever seen. The practice of giving door prizes was abandoned. Instead, all employees were given a turkey. Karl Draugelat, general manager of the center, wished all a Merry Christmas. And it was a good thing Dick McGinn had a healthy lap. Santa Claus greeted and gave presents to about 150 children of UAW employees.
