1979 - Onaway Snowcoming King Mark Walker and Queen Nettie Chagnon...and ...Senior Jeff Badder Makes New Ping-Pong Tables for School From Presque Isle County Advance and Onaway Outlook February 21, 2019

  
CAPTION: Onaway Snowcoming king Mark Walker and queen Nettie Chagnon were flanked by
members of the court in 1979.  Denise Grandia, Ken Hall, Annette Harris, Frank Hale
(between the royal couple), Shelly Reiger and Jim Bosley. In front of Walker and 
Chagnon is Evan Nixon and Melissa Materna.  In other Onaway news, Onaway students
were to get new ping-pong tables to play on thanks to the efforts of high school
senior Jeff Badder.  With the help and advice of shop teacher Robert Lewis, Badder 
was putting the finishing touches on three heavy-duty tables to be used in physical
education classes and for recreation at the school.
