CAPTION: Onaway Community Federal Credit Union moved to its new home on Washington Avenue and opened for business on the morning of Jan. 21. After nearly a quarter of a century in its former location on Onaway's State Street, the long awaited and well-planned move was accomplished. Plagued by overcrowding for many years due to an ever-increasing membership, the new building went up. The new building provided many square feet of much needed space as well as very pleasant surroundings. In other Onaway news, Onaway Police Departmant chief Lewis Robinson addressed the Onaway City Commission and reported that William Stevenson had left for a job in Rogers City. Robinson noted that he and Scott MacGregor were the only remaining officers in Onaway.
