CAPTION: Central Michigan University athletic director Ted Kjolhede was a guest speaker at the community sports' dinner. His speech was enlightening and inspirational. He related many coaching experiences, but he provided the winning formula for athletes. "Obviously, a sound body is required. Then comes attitude. It is necessary to be committed to be a winner."...In other Onaway News, the long awaited five-person Onaway City Commission was going to become reality... The Onaway Dairy Queen had a special of a milkshake and hot dog for a buck... Mabel Burt had two tomatoes weighing a combined 3 pounds...The Cardinals' lost their first game in 14-regular season games. Gaylord broke the streak with a 21-0 victory. "Gaylord is outstanding. Still, no team should suffer as many bad breaks as Onaway did in this game," said head coach John Connell.
