Onaway's Big Red Machine (Football Team) Defeats Kalkaska, 16-0 From Presque Isle County Advance and Onaway Outlook October 10, 2019

  
CAPTION: Onaway's Big Red Machine traveled to Kalkaska, Oct. 5, and came home
with a 16-0 shutout victory.  Above, Pat Crowe gained positive yardage on a running play,
but led the cards with 10 tackles.  The Cardinals rushed for 328 yards and 21 first down.  
Fred Ellenberger and Jim "Tatoo" Rutkowski racked up eight apiece and Mike Decker stopped
the Kalkaska advance seven times.  Rick Waldie was named offensive player of the week, 
in an ad that was sponsored by Sears Catalog Sales located along State Street.  Mark
Dunbar was the most improved player of the week. That ad was sponsored by Tom's IGA.
