2006- Rogers City Heads to Ishpeming for Football Playoffs From Presque Isle County Advance and Onaway Outlook October 27, 2016

  
CAPTION:  Rogers City earned a playoff berth 10 years ago this week.  The Hurons (7-2) were headed to 
Ishpeming trying to extend their season.  The school had never matched up in football, but the Hematite
basketball team defeated two of the best Huron basketball teams at the quarterfinal level.  Above is a 
photo of Rogers City's swarming defense, led by Chris Cornett dragging the back down.  In pursuit are 
Brett Freet, Joe Finch and Henry Dietlin.
