CAPTION: Russell Memorial Hospital administrator Ted Wall said there was a growing need for hospital use in Onaway making it mandatory for expansion. All beds were filled when an Onaway News reporter conducted a survey at the hospital. Maternity care facilities were to be consolidated into a new wing. In other Onaway News, The Onaway Post Office received the United States Treasury Department 25th anniversary award for patriotic service in support of the United States Savings Bond program during 1966. All the postal employees at the Onaway post office were buying savings bonds through the payroll deduction plan.
