CAPTION: High snowbanks on College Street
This week's winter scene is on College Street. It was taken looking north from in front of our old white house on College Street. We know the driver of the truck is Orin Gray. We had tunnels built in these snowbanks all winter.
At this time Dick Martin's house was to the left of the plow truck and Vern Smith's family lived across the road to the right. Bernie Peterson's home was north of Smith's on the corner. This home became the Ralph Dean's home. It still stands today; the other two homes are long gone, as is our old white house. My sister Eve and husband Terry Taffe still hold down the fort on the same location this picture was taken from.
