  This week's bit of history comes to us from the corner of State Street and M-211. The young lady sitting on the
grass is Barbara (Harman) Robbins.  The man standing at the pumps is her father Gray Harman.  Note the vintage
change-making machine on  his belt. This Standard Oil Company building was replaced by the building that is now
Vance's Service Station. The large building to the left facing M-211 housed the Onaway Interlake newspaper.  If
one reads the Onaway Outlook and the Onaway Interlake during the time frame of 1901 to 1916 when the Interlake 
closed its doors, you would find some very interesting news about each editor, as they weekly made remarks to cut 
one another's paper down.  This photo comes to us from the collection of Karan and Carolyn Pregitzer.
