- HOOGERHYDE: I am looking for info on my Grandmother, Lena HOOGERHYDE and
her family. Her father's name was Dave HOOGERHYDE. I do not have DOB or DOD
information on either although Lena would have lived between 1880's and

to the some of the Hoogerhyde's of Michigan, possibly the Grand Rapids area.

Portland, Oregon. They had three children; Virginia Smits-Deblin, John SMITS
and Harold David SMITS, my father who was born in Portland, OR on June 23,
1911. I would appreciate hearing from any Hoogerhydes, or relations to see
if there might be a connection. Thank You!

Told family came from ancestors in this place. Can you tell me anything

REMLY/REMLEY relatives. Could they have been Palatine Germans that arrived
by boat from Holland? This would fit family lore, if true. Thanks for any
