- MORLAN: Looking for information on a William Morlan, born in Michigan in
the early 1800s. Have very little information except three brothers arrived
in Michigan at the same time. William is believed to be the son of one of
the brothers. Anyone having information on this line may e-mail me at
bjfmorlan@aol.com. GARDNER: My grgrgrgrgrandmother Jane Ann Gardner was born
in Michigan about 1832. Exact date may be unknown. She married a Jobe
William Morlan in 1850 perhaps either in Ohio, Kentucky, or Michigan. She
died in Oklahoma in 1908. Anyone having information please e-mail me at
bjfmorlan@aol.com. The migration route for my family seems to go through the
following states: MI, IL, OH, KY, TN, MO, KS, and OK. There are other routes
suggested but this is the general routes taken. I believe the three brothers
may have separated and taken routes through IL, IA, and MN.
