The time frame is from World War II to the present time. The index is not for public research other than this index. You need to be a relative or public agency to gain access. Even knowing this we think this index offers another key in genealogical research that may be helpful to anyone researching in St. Joseph County.

We have done all the names exactly as found and the military affiliations as well. In Book 1 the names were listed by page number and in Book 2 by certificate number. We've included everything that was with each name.
