This information is obtained from a booklet written by my great uncle Frank Semon in 1935.

David D. Semon born Nov. 25, 1810 Schodacke, N.Y. Died Aug. 25, 1870 at Allegan. David purchased 80 acres from a John Bradt on May 1, 1856, and was recorded Dec. 28, 1867 at Allegan. He paid $320.00 for it.

David Henry Semon born Aug. 21, 1833 at Schodache, N.Y., married Annah Stanclift at Allegan, Michigan on May 1, 1866. He died in Seattle in 1914. In 1862 he enlisted in the Fifth Michigan Cavalry. He returned to Allegan after the war was over and purchased a 60 acre farm in the northern part of Allegan Township. He and Annah farmed there for over 40 years.

Oscar J. Semon born June 21, 1846 at Schodache, N.Y. Died June 26, 1927 in Seattle and is buried at Allegan.

Charles E. Semon, born Oct. 27, 1848 at Ogden N.Y., died in Seattle, and buried at Allegan. Oscar and Charles ran the family farm until their mother's death. They left in 1899 to Seattle. They are buried in the Semon burial lot in Allegan.

Carrie Semon married Lester Hornden of Allegan on April 12, 1888.

George Semon, born in May, 1870 and lived on the Semon homestead in Allegan. He was still living there when the history booklet was written, so his date of death is unknown. He had 3 sons and a daughter born in Allegan. Oscar Harold, born 1898, and George H., Charley A. or Vivian (birth dates unknown).

Annah Stanclift Semon, David Henry Semon's wife, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Stanclift, was born Jan. 11, 1808 in Vermont, and died Nov. 11, 1856 at Martin Corners, Allegan County.

Kathryn Esther Semon, born Sept. 22, 1885 at Allegan.
Flora Blanche Lonsbury, the wife of Frank Emerson Semon, born Feb. 6, 1871 at Allegan.

Estella Belle Dibble, a daughter of Russell Thomas Dibble and Sarah Bresley Dibble of Allegan, was born Jan. 1, 1874. She married Clarence Josiah Semon May 26, 1897 at Allegan.

Ruby Ellinger Semon, wife of Herbert Andrew Semon, was born Oct. 22, 1875 at Allegan.
