December 23, 1999 Stanley Frank Bailey, 76, of Harrison, and formerly of Midland, went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 1999. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He was born September 25, 1923 in Harrison, the son of Cashus and Gladys (Mitchell) Bailey. Mr. Bailey retired from Dow Chemical Co., in 1980 after twenty-seven years of employment. Stanley F. Bailey was united in marriage to Marjorie F. Keysor on September 27, 1945. He served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Harrison; two sons, William Bailey and wife Angela of Rhodes and Michael Bailey of Midland; six daughters, Ruth Boman and husband Tom of Midland, Peggy Sprague and husband Larry of Beaverton, Bonnie Boulton and husband Pat of Midland, Sally Kelly and husband Dennis of Midland, Patsy Eddy and husband Mike of Midland and Janetta Shuart of Cedar Springs; numerous grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Bailey and wife Maxine of Harrison and David Bailey and wife Reggie of West Branch; three sisters, Maxine Bider of Gladwin, Joan Ellsworth and husband Donald of Gladwin, and Betty Hales and husband Ray of Clare. Funeral services were held Monday, December 20, 1999, at ll:00 am from Stocking Funeral Home in Harrison with sons-in-law Patrick Boulton and Tom Boman officiating. Burial was in Hamilton Township Cemetery in rural Harrison. Memorial contributions may be made to MidMichigan Hospice
