Dennis Patrick Farrell was born on October 2, 1946 in Detroit as the only son of John (deceased 1976) and Grace (Robinson) Farrell. He was one of three children; with sisters Joann Sugameli and Kathleen (John) Grillo. Dennis was a resident of Harrison since 1979 and attended St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Clare. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Detroit, served in the U.S. Army as SFC, and was awarded numerous citations for markmanship. Mr. Farrell died on Thursday, March 29, at his home. He leaves behind; his mother, two sisters, paternal aunt, Kathleen Gies, five nieces and one nephew. A memorial service was held to celebrate his life on Wednesday, April 4, 200l at l:30 pm at Stocking Funeral Home, with Father John O'Ladd presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Assumption Grotto Catholic Church in Detroit. Arrangements were entrusted to Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison. jic
