Theresa (Tenbusch) Booms
September 19, 1901 - April 30, 1987
Theresa Booms, 85, of Harbor Beach, died Thursday, April 30th at Harbor 
Beach Community Hospital after a short illness.  She was born September 19, 
1901 in Sherman Township.  Daughter of the late Barney and Mary 
(Wolschleger) Tenbusch.  She married Frank J. Booms, November 16, 1920 in 
St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Helena.  He preceded her in death October 25 
1968.  She attended Filmor Country School and farmed in Sherman Township 
until 1963, lived in Ruth until 1980, then moved to Sigel Township.  She was 
a member of the Christian Mothers at St. Peter and Paul, Ruth and a was a 
member of the church since 1020.

Surviving are seven daughters; Mrs. Wm. (Beatrice) Bishop, Memphis, Mrs. 
Titus (Gertrude) Salowltz, Mrs. Donald (Marie) Lang, both of Palms, Mrs. 
Clarence (Eleanor) Wooldridge, Mrs. Bernard (Annabelle) Wruble, both of E: 
Detroit, Mrs lra (Gladys) Wrubel, Harbor Beach, Mrs. Richard (Irene) 
Lemanski, Harbor Beach; four sons, Melvin Booms, Eugene Booms, Vincent Booms 
and Angus Booms, all of Harbor Beach, one half-brother Allen Tenbusch; 
Harbor Beach 56 grandchildren; 65 great grandchlldren.

She was preceded In death by one son, Ralph Booms January 29, 1957, 1 sister 
Elizabeth Ebach, 1 brother, Frank Tenbusch,1 half-sister, Alma Emmlng, 5 
half-brothers Alfred, Roman, Angus, Raymond and Bernard Tenbusch. 

Funeral services were Monday, May 4 at Sts. Peter and PauI, Ruth. Burial was 
in the church cemetery. Arrangements were directed through the Zinger-
Smigielski, Ubly.  Published Harbor Beach Times Thursday May 14, 1987.
