Born in Harbor Beach on October 21, 1975, she was the daughter of Harlan and Ann (Frey) Reinke. On August 16, 1997, Amy and Daniel Deer were united in marriage in St. John Lutheran Church in Port Hope. Amy was an employee of Dr. James Hirn Dentist Office in Harbor Beach and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Port Hope. Amy enjoyed and was very interested in scrap booking. She also love her family very much and enjoyed camping and the family campfires. Surviving are her husband Dan Deer of Port Hope and her children Skylar, Riley and Baylee Deer all at home. Also surviving are her parents, Harlan and Ann Reinke of Port Hope; and her two sisters Heather Kowaleski and her husband Ted of Harbor Beach and Kimberly Clink and her husband Michael of Forestville; and a brother Kurtiss Reinke of Jacksonville, Floriada; maternal grandmother Geraldine Rismiller and her husband Robert of Forestville; God Parents: David and Jean Reinke of Mt. Morris, father and mother-in-law: Earl and Jane Deer of Port Hope; brother-in-laws: Glenn and Courtney Deer of Harbor Beach, Randy and Amy Deer of Harbor Beach, Kevin and Kathy Deer of Harbor Beach; grandmother-in- laws Evelyn Deer of Harbor Beach and Mary Wolschleger of Ruth as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services for Amy will be Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 11am in St. John Lutheran Church, Port Hope with Rev. Gregory Eilers, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery. A scripture service will be Monday at 7pm in the Ramsey Funeral Home, Harbor Beach where visitation will be on Sunday from 4-9pm, Monday 1-9 pm and Tuesday at the church from 10 am until the time of services.
