(Morse) Karbowski April 9, 1923 - October 26-2018 KARBOWSKI, INEZ M. passed into Eternal Life on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Toni and Trish House in Fisherville, Michigan. She was born on April 9, 1923, to Eliakim & Anna (Johnson) Morse at their home in Garfield Township, Michigan. The older of identical twins, Inez and her sister, Ina, joined their parents and four brothers on the family farm. The twins walked to a one-room elementary school and later boarded with two Pinconning families thus enabling them to attend Pinconning High School. Inez was recently recognized as the longest surviving member of the Class of 1941. Inez worked in a small factory in Saginaw after graduation. In the summer of 1943 she boarded a train to Neosho, Missouri, where she and the love of her life, Dave Karbowski, were married near his military base. They returned to Michigan to own and operate the farm implement dealership in Crump for the forty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dave Karbowski (2003), twin sister, Ina (2017), brothers A.J., Charlie, Gerald and Joe and a son Frank Karbowski (1962). Others include brothers-in-law Jim (Marylal) Karbowski, Ben (Betty) Karbowski, and sister-in-law, Pat. She is survived by her daughter Gail (Carlo) Lamberti, grandson Carlo D. Lamberti and granddaughter Gina (Matt) Ruhlig, great granddaughters Mia, Lucy, and Gabby; nephew Arnold (June) Wilson and family, and her brother-in-law Jack Karbowski. The family sends a heartfelt thank-you to the staff and volunteers at Toni and Trish House for all the loving care provided to Inez. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11 am from the Garfield United Methodist Church with Pastor Heather Nowak officiating. Friends may call at the Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Monday, from 1 to 8 pm. On Tuesday, Inez will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Garfield United Methodist Church or Toni and Trish House of Auburn, Michigan.
