Dennis Lemanski, 48, of North Carolina and formerly of Parisville, passed away 
Friday, March 29, 2002 in Greenville Hospital of South Carolina.  He was born 
January 28, 1954 in Parisville to the late Alfred and Evelyn (Glaza) Lemanski. 
He never married.  Dennis was a graduate of the Ubly High School. He received 
a bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of North Carolina, 
Charlotte. He was a member of the American Legion in North Carolina and member 
of the Knights of Columbus of North Carolina. He was a member of the Fraternal 
Order of Police Lodge No. 10.  He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving 
during Vietnam Conflict. He as a member of the North Carolina National Guard 
Association, the Air Force Association, the Air Force Sergeants Association 
and the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States 
(E.A.N.G.U.S.) He was active in the Air National Guard in Baden, North 
Carolina. He was a member of the St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church of 
Statesville, North Carolina.  

Dennis is survived by his one brother, Ronald Lemanski and his wife, Linda, of 
Mauldin, South Carolina; four sisters, Mary Ann Wrubel and her husband, 
Kenneth, of Minden City, Arlene Schultz and her husband, Edward, of Otisville, 
Rita Osentoski and her husband, Jim, of Ubly, Lorraine Barnes and her husband, 
James "Butch", of Imlay City; step-father, George Lemanski of Bad Axe; many 
nieces and nephews; two aunts, Theresa Glaza and Agnes White; two uncles Elmer 
Glaza and Art Lemanski.  

Funeral mass for Dennis will take place at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2002, 
at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Parisville. The Rev. Steve Gavit, pastor of 
SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Ruth will officiate. Burial will be in 
the St. Mary's Cemetery with graveside military honors by the Ubly Veterans 
Organization.  There will be a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the 
Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home of Ubly.  Visitation will be from 1 to 9:30 
p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
