                            BENJAMIN FRANKLIN HAMPTON
                                   1910 - 1988
                           SECTION 5, LOT 62N, SPACE 2

Benjamin "Bennie" Franklin Hampton son of Nelson S. Hampton and Sallie Baldridge
was born on August 26, 1910 in Blue River, Floyd, Kentucky USA. He died on June 
24, 1988 in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery in 
Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. On June 12, 1930 in Blue River, Floyd, Kentucky 
USA he married Susan Hamilton. In 1947 he married Verna "Vernie" Prater and they 
had seven children: Ark J.(Connie), Sally Margaret(Russell Henry Johnston), Bennie 
Paul(Patricia Ann Horton), Lucy Irene(Warren Thomas Wright), Chillie Douglas, 
Thomas Edward and Hershal Ray Hampton. After Verna died in 1974 he married Bessie
Ousley and they had a son named Jason P. Hampton.
