Jennie Lea "Hammitt" Underwood daughter of George Weldon Hammitt and Christina 
Pearl Fast was born on September 3, 1936 in Portland, Jay, Indiana USA. She
died on December 17, 2011 in Charlotte, Eaton, Michigan USA and buried at 
Fairview Cemetery in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. She married Richard Newton 
Mabry on March 28, 1953 in Portland, Jay, Indiana USA. She remarried to Donald 
Maurice Underwood on April 9, 1955 and had four children: Kristie Kay(William 
Henry Monroe)(Dale Robert Darling), Karen Dee(Joel Timothy Hatt), Lori Ann
(Steven Robert Griffin) and William Donald Underwood.
