                                  1878 - 1937
                          SECTION 1, LOT 647, SPACE 1 


Alonzo Louis Updyke son of William Mylad Updyke and Mary Jane "Jeannie" Bishop 
was born on September 1, 1878 in Mason, Ingham, Michigan USA. He died on February
18, 1937 at Leila Hospital in Battle Creek, Calhoun, Michigan USA from acute 
pulmonary edema and buried at Fairview Cemetery in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan 
USA with no marker for his grave. On February 19, 1902 in Leslie, Ingham, Michigan
USA by John Claflin, Clergyman with witnesses S. W. Olds and Mrs. Louis Olds he
married Lily I. Wilson and they had a daughter named Lucille Gladys Updyke. He
remarried to Mary Iva Shafer and they had a daughter named Winifred May Updyke
(Robert Golightly).
